2004 was the most exciting workshop
yet!! We had another star-studded group of
teachers. And most significantly new this year, we added full Steel Guitar
(separate advanced and “crossover” beginner classes) and Ukulele
programs to the usual Slack Key Guitar program. Also included in the 8-day program were tickets to the Tuesday
night Masters of Slack Key Guitar Concert Series featuring Ledward Kaapana and
Cyril Pahinui.

Our outstanding Guitar staff

Slack Key Guitar students wanting to try their hand at lap steel. A nut

taught Rhythm to everyone. George & Keoki taught both basic and
intermediate guitar. Opening the week of advanced Slack Key was Ledward Kaapana and Cyril Pahinui. Ozzie, Carlos, and Dennis finished
off the week.
Bob Brozman offered
Advanced Steel guitar classes for students
already experienced in steel guitar, focused on
developing technique and improvisation.
